Account Protection

Put clear limits around automated trading decisions.

Atlas combines selected entry limits, account identity checks and permitted position management. These controls help define when a trade may proceed and when it should wait for review. They do not remove market risk or guarantee a maximum loss.

Check the account and the proposed exposure

The selected trading account, current broker prices, valid volume and configured entry limits remain conditions for execution. A signal does not authorize switching accounts or increasing your chosen size to overcome a rejection.

  • Review combined exposure across sources sharing a destination account.
  • Check position and volume limits against your intended workflow.
  • Confirm broker symbol mapping, stop distances and account readiness.

Know what pause and stop actually do

Pause blocks new entries while the running worker continues permitted management of existing positions. Stop halts the worker and its ongoing management work. Neither action is an instruction to close all positions at the broker.

  • Use pause when reviewing new-entry behavior with the worker still running.
  • Review open broker positions directly when the worker is stopped.
  • Remember that a request already sent to the broker cannot be withdrawn by a later pause.

Treat uncertain results carefully

When an order result is uncertain, sending the same financial operation again can create unwanted exposure. Atlas preserves event and position records so an unknown outcome can be reviewed against the broker's actual state.

  • A repeated notification or a missing response is not a reason to repeat a trade.
  • Account changes require checks of ownership, existing positions and pending activity.
  • Protection settings are not a documented daily-loss guarantee or a substitute for monitoring.

FAQ

Does Atlas guarantee that losses stay within my selected percentage?

No. Percentage sizing estimates exposure to a specified stop. Market gaps, slippage and trading costs can produce larger losses, and several open positions can accumulate risk.

Does Stop close every open position?

No. Stop halts the copier and its pending management work. Open broker positions remain open unless they are closed through their existing broker orders or another authorized action. Check the account directly.

Is there a guaranteed daily-loss stop?

No such guarantee is made. The documented controls include supported sizing, entry limits, management permissions and account checks. Review the exact available settings instead of assuming a daily-loss cap.

Why might Atlas refuse a new entry?

Possible reasons include an inactive source, a pause, an unready or mismatched account, stale or invalid data, broker constraints, configured exposure limits or an uncertain earlier result. Review the recorded reason before changing settings.
